School Age Classes

4 Week Classes

Payment is accepted by cash, check or credit card via Paypal.  To register, please fill out a Registration Form and SPLAT Studio Waiver/Medical release form for each child.  Your payment, along with the forms, may be dropped off in the gray drop box at the entrance of the studio or mailed to:  SPLAT Studio, P.O. Box 524, Palmyra, PA  17078.  Your payment is your confirmation.  No phone or email sign-ups will be accepted without payment.

At SPLAT, the Team values the time we get to spend with your children making art.  In an effort to maximize that time, we appreciate receiving all paperwork prior to the first class.  Thank you!

"The Art of Reading for School Age Children" - Ages 6-9 - 5:30-6:45 p.m. - Fee $138 (12.5 Hours)

The catalyst for our art making during the 2010-2011 school year has come from Susan Bosak's booked titled "Dream".  Through the creative vision of the author, Dream is a beautifully illustrated book that represents a collaborative effort of fifteen visual artists.  It depicts life's journey through art and written story.

Using Dream as a springboard for a variety of ideas and media to explore, the children are engaged in their own development of creative thought and are provided with the opportunity to express their ideas using a variety of art materials.

"Love Making Things?" - Ages 10 & Up - 5:30-7:30 p.m. - Fee $158 (20 Hours)

This mixed medium class is for the kid who just enjoys creating and exploring new ways of making something.  During this two hour class, we look at art, talk about art, and enjoy lots of time sharing ideas and creating new ones.  Student participation in this class is highly valued as each child is recognized for their individual creativity.

While most materials are provided, at times the kids are encouraged to bring a few things from home (of course, with parent's permission) to personalize their work.
