"Holiday Ornament Making Event at Kettering Corner"

Historic Annville is home to many popular attractions like the Allen Theatre, Batdorf Restaurant, Kettering Corner and Lebanon Valley College.  A venue favored for its warm and welcoming atmosphere is Kettering Corner.  It is a place for friends and family to gather for good eats and "the best ice cream".

SPLAT Studio™ is privileged to host its family ornament making event at:

Kettering Corner on Saturday, November 13 between 2-4 p.m.

Centrally located at 104 W. Main Street in Annville, Kettering Corner is easily found near the town clock.

The ornament making event that SPLAT Studio™ is hosting is in conjunction with the "Festival of Trees", an annual community event that celebrates the holiday season.  Local businesses, organizations and artisans create ornaments and sponsor a tree to benefit scholarships that support residents pursuing degrees in Family and Consumer Sciences.  The decorated trees are publicly displayed at the Lebanon Expo Center (Fairgrounds) December 2-5.

SPLAT Studio™ is sponsoring a 2010 tree and is looking for individuals and families to come out and support this community event by putting your creative talents to use.  Ornament making for the "Festival of Trees" is free.  We are looking for each family to make one "free" ornament for our SPLAT Studio™ tree.  Families can pick up their ornament at SPLAT Studio™ following the "Festival of Trees" event.  Please check the website after the event for available pick up times. 

Additional ornaments can be purchased for a make-and-take experience.  There will be a nice selection of family affordable and age appropriate ornaments to choose from.  People ages 2 through adult are welcome to join in the artful experience.

Darby Galebach, Kettering Corner operator, in the holiday spirit, has graciously offered to provide families with free cookies and hot apple cider.  Come out and share your talents for this worthwhile community event and family memory making opportunity.  Weather permitting; some of the activities may occur outdoors, so please dress appropriately.  While reservations are not required, they are appreciated.  Please call 717.279.1802 and leave a message for Meghan regarding the time and number of people attending.
